About us

Established in 1988, Limited Resources has expanded in line with customer demand and the increasing availability of organic produce. We offer an extremely wide range of organic food and drink and many of our teas, coffees and chocolates are also fairly traded.

Limited Resources is a member of a buying co-operative which buys fresh fruit and vegetables collectively from the grower. We always give preference to UK growers, and for those customers who prefer to support local growers we offer a Local mix bag of vegetables.

The most economical way to buy organic fruit and veg is to buy a mixed bag of produce on a regular basis. We have to order our veg from lists prepared by organic growers and we need to give them as much notice as possible. If we know roughly how many veg. bags are on order, we can order fresh produce more accurately with minimal waste. We try to pop a recipe in the bag from time to time in case you are stuck for ideas. Alternatively, you can always ring the office for inspiration!

About our service

We offer a FREE DELIVERY SERVICE to the home or workplace in Greater Manchester. We will tell you when your usual delivery day is when you place your first order. Customers in the rest of the country can use our mail order service. Mail order customers need to place their order by Wednesday for a Friday delivery. This service costs £6.00 for orders up to 10kg with a supplement of 50p per kg for larger orders.

If you are looking for a product that does not appear on our website just give us a call on 0161 477-2040 or email info@limited-resources.co.uk if you would like us to order it for you. We can always cater for those on special diets but may need a few days' notice for some products.
